I Use to listen to the Wolfman show on XERB 1090 and record myself on this little reel to reel tape recorder. I'm currently performing with the group TIERRA and I do a short Wolfman Impersonation to introduce our oldies Medley. It's great to see a site like this to honor the Fantastic Wolfman. If anyone has material I can purchase, especially tapes or cd's, please contact me. 'Til then. Shake your Boogaloo Baby, God Bless you Wolfman, BUB
Great site enjoy anything about the Wolf
This is a Great Idea. "The Wolf" and myself have done many Radio Shows over the years. One of my favorate things I used to do to him was to play his record on the bread recored label(that I ordered when I was young) and that he recored when he was young. He would say "OH NO! Shotgun please don't play that LP on the air" I did anyway. He loved it
great honor to the man!
We sure miss Jack. Does any one know what happened to his dog"Oscar"? I have a picture autographed by Wolfman Jack and his dog Oscar. They gave it to me in 1964,when they were on XERB,1090 Chula Vista Ca. "Cash Check or Money Order " Baby "
ill never forget the wolf man.

hi, i'm in search of high quality dubs of mann and mann/drake jingles for a historical website for johnny mann. please let me know where i can obtain full track or cd dubs. my email is ; [email protected] arnold zlotnik thanking you in advance for your help.
I'm wondering if the "Let's Cruise" series has airchecks or just the Wolfman's name on the package.. The "Howlin' On the Air" CD is bitchin'!.. I took out some of the lesser tunes and made a real tight 45-minute "Wolfman Jack Show" cassette.I also dubbed the "American Graffiti" airchecks from VHS to make intros for my 50's-60's oldies cassettes. I dig your tribute website to the Wolfman! Rock 'n roll will stand, man! John Wilford
love the page really like the space shot
To whom it may arrive. First of all, i would like to excuse mye poor english, but i hope that you can make some sence out of this. When i first sawe the movie "American Graffittie" i was baffeld bye the apperences of WolfmanJack, mye big brouther who was in the merchant fleet at the time, was sending me tapes of this outraiges radio dj from america. I was around 7 or 8 years old and this woice have stayed white me ever since, the world has lost a great person and an even greater personality. I salute the man we all loved, and still love. Roger Persson.
we love you wolfman I want to give birth to your baby. ps. I am a man
Great Website! Wolfman would be proud!
I have always enjoyed oldies. I started collecting them in grammar school. My first oldie was the Crow's "GEE", a 78. Still have it. This was in the early 50's. In Junior High I used to ride my bike over to Music City in Hollywood to buy oldies. I'd hear something I'd like on the radio then go there, hoping the record would be in stock then, record in hand, rush home to play it. My most fondest memories of Wolfman were during my first job out of collage at Douglas Aircraft in Santa Monica. I remember so many times driving my 57 Chevy 210 hardtop on Pacific Coast highway, usually with a few too many Mai Tais under my belt, North to Topanga, to Malibu, or just diriving to anywhere. This was always at some ungodly hour in the night or early moring, The cool damp salt air from the ocean would be filling the car because I'd have all 4 windows down. But the thing I remeber most and always associate with these happy times is Wolfman on the radio, howling into the night and into my 57 Chevy, always playing the great oldies I've always been so fond of. It was a sensory delight - all these things happening at once. We all liked Wolfman, he was part of our lives. It's interesting how listening to Wolfman's audio clips on the website brings back the feelings of those exciting times. Please keep up the good work. Regards, Newell
This has got to be one of the best Wolfman sites I've seen!! Great Job!!!
While living in, Wilmington, North Carolina I had the pleasure of meeting Wolf Man Jack. I was training at a radio station in Southport. The station WLCF FM 107 was a sponsor of Wolfman's show. He played at Carolina Beach in the late seventies. I was also fortunate to meet him up close and personal. I knew his real name, and met a woman in Wilmington who stated she went to school with the Wolfman in New York. I have a few color photos of the Wolfman on stage, with the radio station crew, and some upclose. I admired the Wolfman because in person he was real and down to earth. I hope one day to visit his burial place, about 2 hours from my home, and pay my respects to a American legend of all times.

even though i was born in 56, I remember growing up with the oldies, thanks to my older cousins. They lived in Santa Ana and I lived in San Clemente in '67' and remember the wolfman on the air waves. Grew up with the man and I loved him, he had soul.
i've been a d.j. for a while and have learned that the wolfman took the fun of radio to the grave with him .sure wish i could of met the man.would like to know how he dealt with the frustration, of not getting a shot to be wild and off the wallat the beginning.
we love you man
I have memories of listening at night to XERB( which became the mighty 1090, the soul xpress) in the late sixies and early seventies and hearing the Wolfman Jack show. I thought the show came out of the L.A. area ??? What a show he had!!! I think that the D.J. ahead of him was Chris Christian??? What great memories I have of those days....

I've used this web site a few times. It is a great site. It holds my interest. I love American Graffiti trivia. I enjoy corresponding with others who also like American Graffiti. Let's hold on to it. Where were you in '62?

Wolfman Jack played the most important part in American Graffiti. It was his quick actions and carefully selected words that changed the life of Curt Henderson, a teenager about to attend collage. The decision was to help a confused youngster understand the meaning of an education. Wolfman Jack convinced Curt that he had to do what was best for his future. Wolfman Jack convinced Curt in less than five minutes.
